After medical examinations and the first days at the Viola sports center, a first press release arrives to formalize Ikonè’s transfer to Fiorentina. It is Lille to issue it, saying that:

“The LOSC confirms the full agreement with ACF Fiorentina for the transfer of Jonathan Ikoné (23) to the Serie A club. The French international (4 appearances, 1 goal) will sign there permanently on January 3, 2022, opening date of the Italian transfer window. However, he was cleared to join Italy early to participate in the resumption of training for Fiorentina.
