The case of rapper Lil’Kleine, who was suspected of assaulting his fiancée Jaimie Vaes, has been dropped for the time being. However, his music is no longer played at FunX and female opinion leaders advise his girlfriend to end the relationship. But as noble as this sounds, isn’t the cancel culture going too far? Volkskrant dance critic Annette Embrechts thinks so: “Celebrities are settled without waiting for a lawsuit.”
