In Yoruba, a dialect of Niger, Lìla means “the crossing”. But even more, this project, which combines tuba, guitar and photography, is a true inner journey. Between jazz, blues, bossa and world music, Lìla, like an initiatory journey, transports the viewer into different universes where the notions of place and time seem to have disappeared. With tailor-made arrangements, EPO students will accompany the artists on this journey mixing the sound of brass and woodwinds with the sounds of the guitar and tuba. Mixing all levels of learning, this exploration will rely on mutual assistance to complete this adventure!
