The A35 5G Galaxy A35 5G ($257.50 currently on Amazon) is just over six months old. Nonetheless, the first glimpse of a potential successor has been spotted on Geekbench in no fewer than nine listings. As usual, the benchmarking site does not refer to the device by its possible trade name or reveal its appearance.
Instead, all entries feature the model number SM-A366B and some previously unknown specifications. As a reminder, SM-A346 and SM-A356 correspond to the models Galaxy A34 5G et Galaxy A35 5Grespectively. So, Samsung’s nomenclature suggests that the Galaxy A36 5G model number should be SM-A366B.
Additionally, all Geekbench entries indicate that the Galaxy A36 5G was tested with 6GB of RAM. However, this is probably the lowest RAM configuration on the device if its predecessor is anything to go by. Additionally, it looks like Samsung will replace the Exynos 1380 Exynos 1380 who equips the Galaxy A35 5G by a chipset from Qualcomm.
Again, Geekbench does not mention the chipset in question. That being said, the ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 1 part 3393 revision 2 identifier gives some clues, as does the processor configuration. It looks like Samsung has opted for one of three options, which could be as follows Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Unfortunately, we do not yet know which chipset will equip the Galaxy A36 5G; while the GPU implies that it could be the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 3CPU configuration says it’s a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 used.
