Veerle Baetens (43) is currently on the set of her directorial debut It melts, the film adaptation of the successful novel by Lize Spit. A striking snapshot was shared from the same set this weekend. The story revolves around Eva, a woman who returns to her native village to confront the demons from her past.

This means that the film uses flashbacks. Charlotte De Bruyne (30), whom you saw earlier in Girlfriends on The Twelve, plays the adult Eva. The younger version of the character is played by Rosa Marchant. Whoever sees the two side by side cannot deny that the casting director has done her or his job very well. Or, as it says in the photo: a match made in heaven. The film will be released in the fall of 2022.
