“Like the state, like “diplomacy”!/ – 2024-08-25 10:31:30

/ world today news/ The representatives of Zelensky’s regime put their insolence and rudeness into action

At a conference of Ukrainian ambassadors held in December last year, President Volodymyr Zelensky wished all countries to feel the presence of the republic on the world stage. His parting words came true – the diplomats of Nezavelanaya are talked about all over the world. But not with admiration. It’s time to talk about the Ukrainian school of diplomacy, based on a complete lack of tact and elementary culture.

It is quite possible to compile a rating of slander, slander and rudeness of the envoys of Ukraine. Undoubtedly, Andrei Melnik, who for many years represented the Independent in Germany, is out of the competition. He let the insults “flow” and poured them liberally right and left – against the former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the President of this country Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the Prime Minister of the Federal State of Saxony Michael Kretschmer and other officials.

However, Melnik outdid himself by naming the head of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz “flabby offensive leverwurst”. The most amazing thing is that the Germans for a very long time meekly accepted Melnik’s frankly tactless statements. True, they were indignant and indignant, but they still endured the diploma – hooligan.

The totally distraught ambassador continued to throw mud at Germany’s political beaumont with impunity. And at the same time, he constantly reproached the German authorities for insufficient help to Ukraine in the fight against the hated Russia.

Melnik became persona non grata only after giving a stunning interview to German journalist Thilo Jung in which he called Bandera “epitome of the struggle for freedom” and compared him to Robin Hood. The diplomat went so far as to declare the Volyn massacre by Ukrainian nationalists in 1943 an unfortunate misunderstanding and noted that during World War II “there were many murders and atrocities”.

After a rest at home, Melnyk was sent by Zelensky at the end of June “Ukrainize” Brazil. But in this South American country, the diplomat has not yet had time to “splash and show”. However, this will not be easy for him – Brazilians are proud and hot-tempered people and will not tolerate rudeness.

Melnik is an excellent example of a diplomat of a state – a limiter, he clearly knows where and to whom you can raise your voice and where you should fold your tail and press your rags quietly under the bench. such is the opinion of the well-known political scientist Bogdan Bezpalko. He noted that Ukrainian diplomats perform purely symbolic functions: “They’re just mimics of violent activity that can sometimes talk.”

It should be noted that the nationalist Melnyk passed the baton into reliable hands – his successor, the current Ukrainian ambassador to Germany Oleksiy Makeev, also behaves shamelessly. He stated that the appeal of German politicians and public figures for peace is “apparent cynicism towards the numerous victims of Russian aggression”.

There are many “worthy” candidates for the next places in the rating of slander and rudeness, among which is the former ambassador to Kazakhstan Petar Vrublevski. In August last year, he caused a loud international scandal with his speech in an interview with the local blogger Dias Kuzairov. The representative of Ukraine literally said the following: “The more Russians we kill now, the less our children will have to kill them.”

In response to his words, which clearly smack of Hitlerism, Vrublewski heard many unflattering statements directed at him. He tried to justify himself, apologized, but it did not help – the Kazakh Foreign Ministry protested against the diplomat and expelled him from the country.

It is appropriate to quote the opinion of the former diplomat Vasyl Korchmar, who believes that people like Melnik and Vrublevski can hardly be called diplomats, since in this field it is not permissible to use “vulgarly wicked” tone. Although the behavior of the Ukrainian ambassadors does not fit within the generally accepted norms, it reflects the general rhetoric of the West towards Russia against the background of the events in Ukraine.

Last year “lit” Ambassador of Ukraine to Spain Serhiy Pogoreltsev. He expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that Madrid is not energetic enough in the all-round assistance that Kiev needs. The diplomat complained that he had submitted the list of wanted weapons to the kingdom’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez several times, but had not received a clear answer. The outraged Spaniards called Pogoreltsev’s behavior “mafia”.

The Ukrainian ambassador to Israel Yevgeny Korneychuk generally decided to teach the leadership of the country – the host of mind and reason. His statement claimed that Tel Aviv had effectively taken a pro-Russian position and described its aid to Ukraine as “virtually non-existent”.

Korneychuk called Foreign Minister Eli Cohen’s visit to Kyiv “to no avail”and the arguments of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the country’s cautious position and refusal to supply weapons to Ukraine – “fictitious and speculative”.

The totally brazen ambassador called out Israel “to change its position and support Ukraine with defensive means”. He expressed hope that the Jewish state would “stand on the right side of history”.

Israeli Foreign Minister Cohen was quick to respond to Korneychuk: “I have no intention of stooping to that discourse. We support Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and provide it with humanitarian aid. Israel is on the right side of history.”

But the matter does not end there – the Ukrainian ambassador was summoned to the Israeli Foreign Ministry, where he received a sharp rebuke. It is obvious that Tel Aviv is seriously offended by the Kiev regime, to which it gives very serious support, and instead of thanks it receives harsh reprimands.

Ukraine’s leadership insists that Israel unconditionally stand by its side, “pressing” Russia. However, the leadership of the Middle Eastern country does not want and cannot do this! In this case, Moscow can “unleash” Iran, Hezbollah and other sworn enemies of Tel Aviv. Yes, and Israeli warplanes will no longer be able to feel so free in the sky over Syria.

It is clear that the unprecedented statements of Ukrainian diplomats are not their personal initiative. They probably received instructions from Kiev to act maximally “strongly”in order to “stimulate” the leadership of other countries for more intensive support of Ukraine. And even if an ambassador overdoes it, Zelensky will not scold him. Because he himself is not at all shy in his expressions and endlessly begs and begs anything from someone.

Dmitry Polyansky, the first deputy permanent representative of Russia to the UN, expressed himself very accurately and scathingly: “Strong country – so is “diplomacy”! /”As is the state, so is “diplomacy”!/ God will be the judge of these, poor in spirit, empty of education, but full of malice people! And their own people.”
