After Sidya Touré’s UFR, it was Dr Faya Milimono’s Liberal Bloc who said they were ready for a dialogue. This announcement was made, this Saturday, January 2, 2021, by the opponent himself, Dr Faya Milimono on the occasion of his New Year’s speech.
For him, to the health crisis that the whole world is going through in 2020, a political crisis has been added for Guinea “through controversial, non-inclusive polls marred by deadly violence and significant material losses”.
So “it is time to stop and take a hard look at it and have the courage to recognize that this crisis is the result of bad choices and bad decisions by the government and the political class as a whole,” says Dr Faya.
Thus, “in the Liberal Bloc, we objectively analyzed the situation and took note of the new context of our country by committing to the voice of the pacification of the country and of inclusive dialogue so that the Guineans finally experience peace in the hope of shared development and prosperity, ”announced Faya Milimono.
Already, “we have set ourselves new priorities, which are: Work to lower the tension in the country in order to pave the way for a dialogue that will allow the people to heal their wounds and begin a sincere reconciliation. Release all opposition activists and civil society organizations who are currently in prisons. Think about new strategies allowing us to continue the fight that we have started since we formed a political party, ”he promised.
