Depending on the UEFA meeting on April 23 and the possible announcement that the championships may go beyond August 3, the Sarthois leader would not be against seeing the 2019-2020 season extend until the end of August, even if it means start the 2020-2021 financial year later. UEFA had set a provisional end date for the championships on August 3. But a priori, it is not that clear. Since then, it is possible that the international matches at the end of August will be canceled, and that international competitions will also be canceled at the end of August. Which would perhaps have a third option (as the 2 already proposed by the LFP, note). It would be to stretch the championships until the end of August. And, in this case, to resume training quietly in June. To resume matches in early July with the first two behind closed doors. And to follow up with 8 other games which would not be every three days to finish mid-August or end of August. It would be an ideal compromise for everyone.
