All may not be in their current club, for the resumption of the League 2, July 24. End of contracts, requests after a good season, enormous potential… And their team’s insufficient balance sheet. The best passers in the second division, like their fellow scorers, will perhaps move during this summer transfer window. AJA, two mercifully
How not to talk about them in the first place? Certainly, a blow less well, like Auxerre, at the end of the season will have affected Mathias Other and Hamza Sakhi. But the two central midfielders, more originally wingers or offensive, enjoyed this year in Ligue 2. The former Lensois or Brestois ends up best passer in L2, with 13 caviars. Closely followed by his counterpart in the organization of Jean-Marc Furlan at AJA. Sakhi finished with 11 assists, and the technical contribution of the duo will have long allowed the Burgundians to shine offensively. The two small formats (respectively 1.75m and 76), supported by Birama Touré behind them as a sentinel, were able to move between the lines to shift partners. And perfectly serve a player like Le Bihan to conclude the actions. With the arrival of Gaëtan Perrin (Orleans, 13 goals and 9 assists in National), Auxerre will aim for the climb, again. If Autret performed, special mention to the Moroccan, amazing technique, as at Auxerre-Toulouse where we only live him.
Nice surprises, names to follow!
Chouaref (Châteauroux), Boutobba (Niort) or even Victor Lobsters (Pau). This season, without the players finding themselves in the top 3 of the best passer, some names have an impact on the retina in the same way as the best known. What a pleasure to find in the classification promising elements like that of Palois Lobry, amazing with his left foot in both construction and finish, or Ilyas Chouaref, with sure potential, who should not stay at La Berrichonne with the descent … Mr. penalty, Jessy Story (Grenoble), has a notable presence in this top, just like Kenny Rocha Santos (9 offerings, 5th best passer), who has just left Nancy for Ostend, at just 21 years old. Note that the middle did not have any assists last season! Finally, since this ranking also gives pride of place to young people and revelations, Arnaud Lusamba was fantastic for Amiens, probably the best Picard player.
Toulouse, sacred environment
Another nugget of the L2 championship, and a Belgian-Dutch duo … In Toulouse, with Spierings or Manu Koné in addition, the sauce finally took quickly with Patrice Garande, after a long transfer window to emerge. Amine Judicial, Brecht Dejaegere and Branco van den Boomen were admirable on the pass as elsewhere, until they fell in L1-L2 dams against Nantes. The TFC trio combine no less than 24 decisive offerings this season, with even the ten reached for Dejaegere! If Adli could leave, requested as are all the kids of his talent at his age (21 years old, 7 assists, 8 goals), the Belgian has just been bought by Toulouse. While the club of the pink city on the contrary loses its coach, for yet another surprise in this decidedly crazy Ligue 2, the Toulouse supporters will be able to console themselves by rethinking the attack put in place (the best, with 71 goals) in the wake of these players … Not sure that it consoles them.

To conclude this top, how can we not mention the 3rd in the standings, author of a superb season, like his team from Clermont? Jason berthomier, with 11 assists (tied with Sakhi) will have been incredible in a hybrid role, rather new for him, between midfielder and second striker behind Momo Bayo (22 goals, best scorer in the field ‘). The number 6 from Auvergne will join Ligue 1 with CF63 next season, for the club’s historic first! Enough to complete the loop of this League 2 always more astonishing, whose names, whether they are those of Autret, Bénet, Adli, Lobry or Berthomier, deserve to be known throughout France!
