Ligue 2 – €12,500 fine per game for the Chamois Niortais?

Since the departure of Rui Almeida, the Chamois Niortais are coached by Oumar Tchomogo. The Beninese technician, appointed to assume the interim, officiated for the fourth time on Saturday at the edge of the lawn of Paris FC (0-3) during the 25th day of Ligue 2. Launched in the deep end, February 3 against Dijon (1-0), the coach, who does not have all the diplomas to train at this level, will soon be there for a month. However, the Niort club had 30 days to comply with the regulations of the Professional Football League (LFP).

Beyond this date, the club which does not have a qualified coach on its bench must pay a fine of 12,500 per Ligue 2 match. In Ligue 1, the penalty is doubled (€25,000) as this is the case for the Stade de Reims and Will Still. If the CNFC decides to end the season with Oumar Tchomogo, or without finding a nominee, the total bill would amount to €162,500.
