Already incidents against Lyon on October 3
The Greens, currently last in L1 (note: no victory on the clock), risk big because last week, the disciplinary committee of the League had imposed a closure of two matches suspended from the south stand after incidents noted during of the derby against Lyon, on October 3. Friday’s overflows have been added to a long list that have occurred this season, in Montpellier, Nice, Lens or Angers. These incidents have already given rise to various sanctions, ranging from the closing of stands to the withdrawal of a point from OGC Nice (plus a suspended sentence).
In addition, the Disciplinary Commission has not yet ruled on the incidents of the OM-PSG match (0-0) on Sunday evening, where projectiles were thrown at the Parisian corner kickers. OM are under threat of losing their suspension of withdrawal of one point in the standings.
