There is complete confusion in Lyon after the scandal scenes when Marseille star Dimitri Payet was hit in the head by a bottle.

The Marseille captain was hit by a bottle in the head in the Direktesport-broadcast settlement when he was to take a corner kick early in the first round of the match between Lyon and Marseille at Groupama Stadium.

Payet went straight to the ground and lay in great pain.
The match was then suspended, and after more than an hour of waiting, the message came that the settlement will be resumed, with a clear warning to the home fans that a similar incident will put an end to the big match.
Lyon then came out to warm up on the grass, while the Marseille players remained in the locker room, at the same time as there were reports that some Marseille players must have been furious that the match was not stopped.
In the end, the Lyon players also strolled in the locker room again, apparently unaware whether the match would be played or not.
– They have no idea what will happen, says Direktesport commentator Robin Haugen while the Lyon players went off the grass again.
Ruddy Buquet has now accepted to go see Dimitri Payet, according to Prime Video. The Lyon team has now left the pitch after warming up, Bruno Guimarães yells, “We want to play!”.

– Completely brain dead
The message that the match should initially be resumed came over an hour after the teams were sent to the locker room for the horrific pictures.
– It’s completely brain dead. I get completely dull, said Direktesport commentator Robin Haugen after Payet was hit by the bottle.
The match in Lyon is played without away supporters, precisely for fear of noise in the stands. Payet lay down and received treatment on the pitch after getting the bottle in his head, while the rest of the players on both teams went into the locker room.
– Lyon-Marseille is the highlight of this round, and a match people wanted to see. But again we get to see a match that is stopped because of idiots. That is not what I want the English, Spaniards and Italians to see of the French league, says Thierry Henry to Amazon Prime.

This is not the first time this season that Payet has had objects thrown at him from the stands. In the away match against Nice the same thing happened, and then the midfielder chose to throw the bottle back at the Nice fans.
Then the chaos broke out, and the match was finally interrupted and had to be played at a later time on a neutral court without supporters.
Just after the situation, Get French Football News reported that the Lyon supporter who threw the bottle after Payet on Sunday had been identified and escorted out of the arena, but that the settlement still has the status of interrupted:
