Monaco ended up early against the reigning champion, but delivered an impressive turnaround operation.
Monaco – Lille 2-2
Lille won a surprising Ligue 1 last season, but has had a difficult start in the league.
However, they did not get it against Monaco on Friday night, because after nine minutes played, the jewel Jonathan David had scored two away.
– Have you ever seen the like. This player is so hot, adding to 2-0. Where would Lille have been without him? He scores on order, David is probably the block for most big clubs, it came from Direktport’s commentator Robin Haugen.
Monaco, on the other hand, managed to get hooked, and former Sarpsborg 08 player Krepin Diatta knocked in a hope for the hosts just before the break.
A red card for the home team made the job more difficult, but captain Wissam Ben Yedder came in and sent the fans to heaven with one man less and secured one point.
Small overtaking
The match was a few minutes old when referee Willy Delajod pointed to the penalty mark, when Strahinja Pavlovic fouled Lille player Xeka inside the penalty area.
– The stopper Pavlovic gets a rare opportunity from the start, and to put it mildly does not get a good opening in the match. He’s definitely on his feet, even if he’s unlucky. He must take the consequences of that, it came from Direktesports Robin Haugen.
Lille’s big star Jonathan David stepped forward. The Canadian made no mistake from the penalty spot and sent the visitors ahead.
– He consolidates his position as the top scorer in the league, and scores his eighth goal in eight games. He’s so hot during the day.

Minutes later, the reigning champion delivered a great goal, when the same man was played through alone with the goalkeeper. The Canadian national team player kept the defender at a distance, and rolled his second into the match.
– Have you ever seen the like. This player is so hot, adding to 2-0. Where would Lille have been without him? He scores on order, David is probably the block for most big clubs.
Monaco worked their way slowly but surely into the match after the shock start to Lille.
Krepin Diatta was an attraction in the Elite Series and was brought to Belgian Club Brugge. There he did his things very well, so well that Monaco turned up about 250 million for the 1999 model. Four minutes before the break, he should prove himself worthy of the prize with a class score.
– A fantastic scoring by the former Sarpsborg 08 player. It is simply sparklingly well done by the Senegalese, and scores his first Ligue 1 goal this season, haugen hailed after the show.
The 22-year-old had to leave the field with a knee injury just after the reduction.
Turning operation
Diatta was replaced during the break, but the home team kept up the pressure and chased for an equalizer in the second half.
The task, however, became more difficult when Pavlovic was involved in a new situation as the first to the Serb received his second yellow card, and was sent into the locker room with the quarter back to play.
– It has been a nightmare battle for the Serb. He was in heaven when the national team went to the World Cup, but he has landed. You can not show the knobs that way.

Niko Kovacs made a substitution and put the striker Wissam Ben Yedder in, and he did it wisely. Seven minutes before the end, it was the substitute who knocked in the equalizer.
– You can not leave that man there alone and quit. Of course it’s Ben Yedder, Haugen said.
Neither team was able to score the decisive goal to take all three points. It thus ended 2-2 in the drama between Lille and Monaco.
