This fall, the Science District invites visitors to travel through time. Immediate boarding towards the future at the Quai des Savoirs with the 10th edition of the festival Lights on the Quay on the theme Create with AI?at the closing of the exhibition AI: Double JeAt the Museum, the public will be transported into the past with the opening of the exhibition Giants.

Lights on the Quay: Creating with artificial intelligence?

Artistic and scientific tour, workshops, meetings and street shows, the 10th edition of the Lumières sur le Quai festival on the theme Create with AI? promises some great surprises on the Jules-Guesde alleys but also in the towns of the Toulouse metropolitan area. The festival which closes the exhibition AI: Double Jeinvites the public to explore AI from various angles, creating a multidisciplinary dialogue.

What happens when an artificial intelligence participates in the creation of a choreography? Based on instructions generated by this AI before each performance, discovered live by the performers, the artistic process is revealed before the eyes of the audience.

Magali Desbazeille and Julie Valero, two curious artists and researchers, cook several artificial intelligences live. On the menu, 45 easy and quick everyday recipes, followed by 53 chic and gourmet recipes.

A grandiose exhibition at the Museum: Giants

In its next major exhibition, the Museum follows in the footsteps of unknown giants. Visitors will discover the history of 8 species from the Cenozoic through 3 life-size skeletons and 5 titanic 3D sculptures.

This journey into the past offers an immersion into the daily life of these impressive creatures: Gigantopithecus blackithe Asian monkey as tall as three orangutans, or even Gastornis Lawrence the giant flightless bird, discovered in the region and exhibited for the first time at the Toulouse Museum. A great opportunity to feel very small!

An exhibition open to the general public, to be discovered from October 8, 2024 to June 29, 2025, in 3 languages ​​(French, English, Spanish), produced by the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences and adapted by the Natural History Museum of Toulouse.

The Museum Gardens in music

To savor the end of the summer season, the Jardins du Muséum will be transformed into a musical guinguette on September 5 with a concert by Marie Sigal, a local artist with a poetic musical universe.
