Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists on social media shared pictures and videos of the moment a lightning bolt struck the clock tower near the Great Mosque of Mecca in Saudi Arabia, which sparked interaction.
The most prominent activists of the verse, “And We do not send signs except for intimidation,” in their comments on the lightning bolt shots.
And the Saudi photographer, Yasser Bakhsh, had documented a group of charming photographic works of the famous clock tower, and he was present in the Kadi neighborhood, in the city of Makkah, during the rain, last week.
Bakhsh said, during his interview with CNN in Arabic: “To witness the phenomenon of lightning striking the clock tower is a frightening and terrible scene.”
And the Saudi government news channel had published a video clip of the moment the lightning struck the top of the clock tower, in a post on its page on the X platform (formerly Twitter), on Tuesday evening.
