A mysterious pink light lit up the sky in the Australian city of Mildura on Wednesday night.
The light created a supernatural atmosphere in the town, to the horror and delight of the inhabitants of the town.
There were many suggestions as to what this mysterious light could be. People wondered if this could be an alien invasion and aurora borealis, among other things.

– What the hell is this?
Tammy Szumowski and her family were among those who noticed the pink light. She thought the world was coming to an end.
– I just thought what the hell is this? It was very bizarre with pink lights in the sky. I tried not to freak out because I had my daughters in the car.
The politician Anne Webster was also out driving this evening. However, she tried to find an explanation for the light.
– I noticed a very unusual and rather large pink light. I thought it was very strange. My first thought was that there must be a logical reason for this.
Revealed secret facility
However, it turned out to be neither the Northern Lights nor the end of the world. It was a cannabis plant that was testing LED lights.
The pink light also revealed the location of the hitherto secret cannabis plant.
When the facility’s security guard investigated the source of the pink light, he realized that it had gained attention across the city.
– He went out in the evening and noticed the light, as well as cars that drove up to see where it was coming from, says CEO Peter Crock of the Cann Group to ABC News.
Cann Group is a cannabis research and production company.
Usually they use blackout curtains to hide the LED lights, which are used to improve plant growth. But these were left open for a while on Wednesday.
– All PR er god PR
Australia legalized the cultivation, research and production of medical marijuana in 2016.
Today, over 70,000 Australians have a prescription for medical marijuana, primarily for pain, anxiety and sleep problems.
The city of Mildura is known as a major producer of grapes for wine production. The investment in cannabis, on the other hand, is new.
In the interview with the Australian TV channel about the incident, Crock says that operations at the cannabis plant have resumed.
– But it definitely caught everyone’s attention in the meantime. All PR is good PR, says Crock.
