Habitat Steinbacherhof in Ernstbrunn (Korneuburg district): The farm offers horse-assisted therapies, which are well booked thanks to the donations. “Licht ins Dunkel supports families and people who cannot afford riding therapy. This enables good therapy work, hence my big thanks to the N and Licht ins Dunkel “, says Doris Waldhäusl, owner of the farm and certified therapist, happily.

Austrian Cancer Aid (Wiener Neustadt): The whole family is looked after if one of the parents is cancerous. The psycho-oncological counseling is free for families: “The 15,000 euros we receive as part of the Licht ins Dunkel campaign are used exclusively for counseling and support for families,” says Sibylle Rasinger, Managing Director of Cancer Aid.

Rainbows – for children in stormy times : “The donations of light in the dark mean an indispensable support for the activities of Rainbows. We use them for direct work with children who have to deal with the separation of their parents or a death. Applications for discounts have increased enormously because many parents have to tighten their belts, ”says Marion Wallner, country manager.

Caritas home for people with disabilities in Zwettl: The expansion and expansion of the Caritas residential building are proceeding according to plan. Five new units are being built for partially supervised residents, including their own bathroom, shower and toilet and a shared kitchen with lounge. Completion is planned for July this year. The total cost is around 600,000 euros. The donation money will be used for this expansion.
