The session on the Warsaw Stock Exchange at the end of the week brought some light green. Among the largest companies, attention was drawn to clothing companies, while Mercator, which was by far the leader of the decline in the WIG20 composition, disappointed.

An increase of 0.2 percent. ended the Friday WIG20 session. WIG achieved a similar result. The sWIG80 was slightly better (+0.8%), and the mWIG40 was weaker (-0.1%). However, these results are still quite good, taking into account the fact that light red was dominating today in Europe. The turnover on the broad market reached PLN 915 million.

The leader of the WIG20 increases was the clothing industry, LPP and CCC shares went by more than 3 percent. up. The first company announced two days ago that it is satisfied with the results of the past quarter. The second stated that signed an agreement with an investment fund from the PFR group issue regarding the acquisition of bonds, under which the company CCC Shoes & Bags will obtain the amount of PLN 360 million.

Mercator, on the other hand, disappointed. group changed estimates for the second quarter 2021 and currently, it is expected that the consolidated sales revenues amounted to approx. PLN 535.7 million, EBITDA was approx. PLN 118.4 million, and the net profit was approx. PLN 113.8 million. Mercator’s securities went down 5.5 percent today. and were by far the weakest link in the WIG20 index.

In the broad market, the commotion in VRG attracted attention, where Andrzej Jaworski was dismissed from the position of the president. The company went down by nearly 1 percent. Stalexport ended the day neutrally, and it changed tariffs for using the A4 motorway. About 3 percent Cherrypick Games went up and announced that begins the process of reviewing strategic options.

There were also results. About 1 percent Grupa Azoty went up, which was held in Q2. ‘PLN 21,361.25 million EBITDA. The results turned out to be as estimated. Inter Cars shares rose in a similar way. The company showed a net profit of 8.6 percent. higher than consensus.
