The President of the Liga MX, Mikel Arriola, met in the city of Guadalajara for the Security Meeting in all its competitions, facing the end of the semester and continuing with the strategies with elements of public security. However, he confirmed that the organization will only deal with violence generated within the stadiums.
Mikel Arriola arrived at the Zapopan municipal police station for the Security Meeting to prevent violence in the stadiums, both First Division, Liga MX Femenil and Expansion League. Something that stood out was what the Liga MX regarding the issue of violence during game days.

“It is a permanent job, where we are talking to more than 200 thousand people per day, fortunately, what we have to do is prevent. But if something happens inside the stadium, which is where we have to work, we apply it within the stadium, we close when it is evacuated at the end of the day, a strike hours later. What this refers to is that the violence that develops outside of any property will not be the responsibility of Liga MX, but rather the responsibility of municipal public security, depending on the area of the actions.
In addition, Mikel Arriola He added that the most important thing is to prevent actions: “When violence occurs, it must be prevented and deterred. When violence is generated, corrective actions are generated and we have applied zero tolerance,” concluded the President of the Liga MX.
