– Oh, what a wonderful Christmas week I had! I got to host a wonderful Yle RSO’s Christmas concert where the soloists shone Marjukka Tepponen, Tomi Bunkeri and Tuomas Katajala. Not only are all three great singers, they are really charming guys! He thanked.

– The whole work group was so wonderful anyway, that you can only feel immense gratitude for being able to participate in this production. In addition, I got to sit on the pink sofas of the Half Seven program right before the Christmas holidays, to have a nice chat with Ella and Miko.

“Life is change”

In his last interview with Iltalehti in 2022, Jungner talked about the setbacks he experienced. He broke his shoulder and was hospitalized for it.

– For a while it has felt that every time the phone rings, someone tells bad or sad news. I’m just really happy that this year is drawing to a close, Jungner spoke at the end of 2022.

There were natural changes: my own child moved into his own home. Maria Jungner had to give up her own home unexpectedly, and at the same time tried to help her sick parents. There were adversities in the immediate family, and the family pet died. Despite the difficulties, Jungner saw life with a bright mind.

– I have a basic positive curiosity about life. I’m open to new things and I never know what’s around the corner. I have learned that life is constant change. Rather than not, I say, why not, he thought at the time.
