Lori Vallow Daybell (50) was sentenced on Monday to life in prison without parole for the murder of her two children.

Her children Tylee Ryan and Joshua “JJ” Vallow were killed in 2019, aged 16 and 7.
They were reported missing in September of the same year, and were found buried dead at a property associated with the husband of the mother in Idaho nine months later. The bodies of the young siblings were hidden under soil, plastic, animal carcasses and planks.
“Tylee and ‘JJ’ brought so much light into this world,” says Colby Ryan, their older brother, in a statement read in court on Monday, according to CNN.
– Tylee will never have an opportunity to become a mother, wife or have the career she was destined to have. She will never be able to have the life she deserved, says Colby further.
The mother was also found guilty of conspiring to kill her husband’s first wife. She died one month after Tylee and Joshua were reported missing. A few weeks later, Daybell married her ex-husband.

The “doomsday mother” received a life sentence for each of the murders of her sons, plus ten years for her misdeeds, ABC writes.
Daybell is very religious, and is particularly concerned with what happens when “doomsday” occurs.
– Some people care less about biblical prophecy, some care more about it. Fortunately, we have freedom of speech in this country, her lawyer Jim Archibald has previously stated about Daybell’s nickname in the American media.
