Life-saving food aid comes to a halt in Gaza

United Nations (UN) World Food Program (WFP) Executive Director Cindy McCain, in her post on the “X” social media platform regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza, said, “With the cutoff of communication in Gaza, our life-saving food aid has come to a halt. We need to provide our employees, partners, “We cannot reach the people who rely on us. We urgently need sustainable access and operations for humanitarian aid. Every minute counts.” she said.

In another post he made in the morning, McCain stated that they lost contact with their teams in Gaza and noted that he was worried about the safety of all humanitarian aid workers and civilians while the conflicts continued.
