BJØRVIKA, OSLO (Dagbladet): Many remember Levi Try (25) after he emerged victorious from the TV 2 program “Sommerhytta” together with his then-girlfriend Øyunn Krogh (28) in 2020.
As a result of the programme, there was naturally a lot of attention around them, and when the relationship ended last year, it was also widely discussed.
– I was unfaithful
In the last year, however, it has been relatively quiet from Try.
Dagbladet meets the “Sommerhytta” winner at a cafe in Bjørvika in Oslo – a short stroll from DNB, where he works as a concept developer.
– I have never dreamed of being in the limelight, or of being famous just for the sake of being famous. In that case it must have been because I was doing something I really liked, I don’t want to strive to stay relevant “just because”, he explains.

Although he does not hunt for new Instagram followers and collaborations, he has developed a taste for media production, and started the podcast “Unauthorized Biography” in 2022.
– That’s exactly what I really enjoyed working with, and I was proud of the product. But now I’m no longer in the management, who were also the people who produced the podcast, so season two hasn’t happened yet – but I really want to do more of it.
Refused on the plane: – Would have imprisoned me
Wanted to avoid attention
It was after the breakup between the “Sommerhytta” couple became known that things became quieter from the 25-year-old. In addition to the fact that he has understood that it is not his desire to be in the influencer business, he says that he chose to be quiet because he wanted as little attention as possible around it.

– It was very strange to have to go public and inform that there was a breach, which is really so private.
– And when the press asked, it was in many ways better not to answer than for me to sit and fumble with formulating an OK answer, so that’s what I went for, he says.
He takes a sip of the smoothie before continuing:
– I’ve been working a lot lately, and I’m really enjoying it. And then I have focused on having a good time and enjoying everyday life, and just being me.
– Are you okay, huh?
– Yes! I am very well now. I’m enjoying myself, he says and smiles.
– We broke up
Røper cabin change
It was Try who ended up with the winning cabin from the TV 2 programme, and last autumn he told Dagbladet that he moved into it for a period.
– I have lived there on and off for a while, and have become very, very fond of it, he says now, before continuing:
– But now I have actually sold the cabin. It feels weird, but it feels right.

The cabin has been sold to get equity capital for an apartment, and Try is now looking for a new home in the capital. The takeover of the cottage will take place this summer, and he plans to be able to move into an apartment in roughly the same time frame.
– The usual thing is to buy a home before you get a cabin, and I have realized that there is a better order to do things, he says, laughing.
Vinnerhytta, on the other hand, disappears – and fortunately – not completely out of his life.
– It has been sold privately to someone I know, and I am sure that I will be allowed to use it if I want.
Moved into the “summer cottage”
– The biggest change
If we are to believe Try, the cabin looks relatively the same as it did on TV – with the exception of a couple of things.
– I made everything on the walls myself, actually! I found out that I like to paint, so now I have decorated the walls with my own decorations, he says.

Nor has he completely put renovation on the shelf – he proudly displays a video of a rowing boat he has renovated himself.
– That is perhaps the biggest change I have made there – bought and refurbished the boat. But it was a lot more work than I thought.
– I’m looking forward to becoming a mother
The cabin is to be sold and an apartment is to be bought – but apart from that, Try describes the coming summer as a “quiet summer, mostly in Norway”.
– I will work a bit, travel a bit to Bergen, probably use the cabin quite a bit. It will be a quiet summer, but I’m looking forward to it.
