The Royal Dutch Mint has struck a commemorative coin for Liesbeth List. It is an “ode to a legendary Dutch artist”, who had a career spanning more than 55 years.

4000 of these have been minted, the coin costs 10 euros. On the front is the portrait of Liesbeth List, on the back is the singer in silhouette, with the relief of a gramophone record in the background.

Liesbeth List passed away on March 25, 2020. She would have turned 80 yesterday. Around the great lady To honour, writes the Royal Dutch Mint, this special issue has been made.

The medal is in a coin card with images of LP covers of her most important recordings, which often won prizes (gold and platinum).
