Lies of P: A Unique Pinocchio-Inspired Game with Core Gameplay centered around Lies

Gamescom doesn’t start until next week, but fans Lies of P they can enjoy it today through a new gameplay trailer showing tons of enemies, environments and characters.

The video is titled “How Many Lies?” and the voice in it translates as: How many lies would you tell? How many enemies would you face? How many battles could you last? How many wins? How many failures? How many broken hearts? How many atrocities? How many lies would you tell… to be human?

Lies of P is a reincarnation of the classic story of Pinocchio, but in a form you wouldn’t expect from a fairy tale. But what is the same are lies. In the game, you are a symbol of Pinocchio being human. Lying will be at the core of the story and the gameplay itself. You will complete interconnected procedural tasks, the progress of which depends on how much you lie. These decisions of yours will eventually affect how your entire story ends.

If Lies of P appeals to you, but at the same time you fear the difficulty of other soulslike games, then developer Jiwon Choi reassures you. According to him, they don’t want players to feel like an overly difficult game that is difficult to master while playing Lies of P. They want their game to be accessible and fun for absolutely everyone.

Lies of P will be released on September 19 this year for PC and the last two generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The title will also be available in Game Pass subscriptionalthough it is also promoted by Sony.
