The news about the licenses for next season is slowly trickling in. Read here how the Antwerp professional clubs are doing.

LIERSE

The licensing committee of the KBVB has given Lierse positive advice for both the national and the European license.

The national license gives the Pallieters the green light to compete in the Challenger Pro League next season. At the same time, Lierse also applied for a European license. In addition to contacts with UEFA, this license offers the option to rent the infrastructure of the Lisp to, for example, the Red Flames, who have already been active in Lier for practice matches in the past. In addition, obtaining the European license also offers a financial bonus, which will be used to strengthen the club.

The committee’s green light for Lierse should hardly come as a surprise. The club recently emerged as the financially soundest in the Challenger Pro League.

Beerschot, which, like Lierse, still plays in the Challenger Pro League but has a prospect of promotion to the Jupiler Pro League, is also in compliance with the license conditions.

KV MECHELEN

And KV Mechelen has also received positive advice from the licensing committee.
