LIER: On Friday afternoon, the emergency services went on the northbound E18 in Liertoppen following reports of a traffic accident.
According to police, there are no injuries related to the incident. Two cars are involved and recovery is required.
– Delays are to be expected for some time to come, writes the police on Twitter.
Drammens Tidende reporter at the scene says traffic is passing in a lane on the E18 and there is a slow queue before the accident site.
A possible detour is Drammensveien, i.e. on the opposite side of the Liertoppen shopping centre. However, this road has several choices to drive and there is heavy traffic here.
According to the newspaper reporter present at the scene, one car has minor damage to the rear, while the other car has minor damage to the front.
At 4.35pm the queue returns to the Fosskoll tunnel. It is possible to ride the old Lierbakkene.
