LIER: It was the 69-year-old Sukanya Banglek who was killed in Lier on the night of Saturday 8 January, the police write in a press release on Tuesday afternoon.

Police started a murder investigation on Saturday after Banglek was found dead at home in his apartment in Lier. A man in his 40s, who himself was the one who notified the police about the incident, is in custody on suspicion of the murder.
The man has been remanded in custody for two weeks with letter and visitation control, isolation and a media ban.
