Liepaja’s Metalworking Company “LPSP” Invests 1.2 Million Euros in New Equipment with Swedbank Loan

Liepaja’s special economic zone metalworking company SIA “LPSP”, attracting a loan from “Swedbank”, has invested a total of 1.2 million euros in new production equipment, LETA agency was informed by the bank’s representatives.

The bank states that the loan from “Swedbank” is less than 700,000 euros.

Investments for the purchase of new equipment are realized within the framework of the “Loans for digitalization” program of the Development Financial Institution “Altum”.

“LPSP” board member Lauris Puteklis notes that digitization and automation of production processes will significantly improve the quality of production processes, productivity and the company’s competitiveness in the world market.

“LPSP” ensures the production of various types of metal parts, the main production lines include parts for the bodies of various equipment, parts for transport containers, parts for conveyor systems, parts for the automotive industry and parts for storage rack systems.

In 2022, “LPSP” worked with a turnover of 2.419 million euros and made a profit of 380,857 euros, according to “Firmas.lv” information.

The company “LPSP” was registered in 2018, and its share capital is 48,000 euros. The owners of the company are SIA “Swedan Partners” (60%) and Puteklis (40%). At the same time, equal parts of “Swedan Partners” belong to SIA “5S team” owned by Anastasija Bolšakova, as well as to the Danish companies “AKLO Holding” and “Kobu Holding”.

Swedbank is the largest bank in Latvia in terms of assets.
