“Liepaja Residents: Discover Local News and Events on Liepajniekiem.lv”

On April 5 at 6 p.m. on the online platform “Zoom” with Literary Academies of Seaside Cities
(PPLA) will meet the Humanities and Art Sciences of the University of Liepāja (LiepU).
lecturer of the faculty, master of philology Sandra Okuņeva, whose class “Visual message
in children’s and youth literature: Comics and graphic stories” will introduce comics and graphic stories
the specifics and place of story books in modern children’s and young people’s literature. Will also be considered
the contribution of individual Latvian authors and the basic principles of comic creation discussed.
