This song was also originally created especially for the content of the musical life story “Don’t Vapebaum Escape”, which is included in the program “School Bag” and now, with the release of the video, closes the past year creatively in E. Veidenbaum’s sign.
The music of the song was written by singer Ralfs Eilands together with trumpet player, arranger, composer and conductor of Liepaja Music Orchestra Jānis Ivuškāns, allowing a cozy self-irony in its mood, which is rooted in the original text of the poem: only. If it’s okay – stay up, And if you don’t like it – leave it! (…) ”.
The plot line of the video creates an obvious and amusing paradox, where the main image of the supervisor in the environment of Liepāja Karosta Prison is a little boy who, while trying to fulfill all the duties of an adult, is playful, serious and sometimes helpless without the help of his assistant.
Participants in the audio and video recording of the song: singer Ralfs Eilands, Jānis Ivuškāns (trumpet), Jānis Ivuškāns junior (small prison supervisor), “Liepaja Music Orchestra” musicians: Edgars Ermansons (trumpet), Artūrs Hrustaļovs (trombone), Edgars saxophone), Mārtiņš Leišavnieks (tuba), Mārtiņš Zālīte (bass), Pauls Ķierpe (percussion instruments), Ritvars Garoza (keyboard instruments).
