This week we have already reported that “Liepāja” has announced the joining of the new match manager Juris Vītols to the Kurzeme team. Willow made more than a polite debut in adult basketball. The 16-year-old scored two points in his first professional level game, won five rebounds, but most notably – scored with ten assists.
Vītols is not the only DSN student who has moved to the Liepāja system. Today, the people of Kurzeme report that Fredrik Meinart, who is tall, is attracted to his basketball system.

In the podcast of the Latvian Basketball Union 2 + 1 “Liepājas” general manager Normunds Atvars said that work is being done in the wind city to create the best conditions for the development of young players.
Juris Umbrašo “Liepāja”, who previously trained Rakvere “Tarvas”, was attracted directly with the aim to promote the development of new players. While Artūrs Visocka-Rubenis’ direct assistants in the training of the “Liepāja” team are Krists Pīternieks and Reinis Rozītis, Umbraško, in cooperation with the rest of the team of coaches, supervises the individual work with the new talents of the “Liepāja” system.
