Freiburg (AP) – Coach Christian Streich from SC Freiburg changed his starting XI to three positions between the two highlights in the Europa League. Compared to the 0-1 draw in the first leg of the round of 16 at Juventus Turin, Kiliann Sildillia and Roland Sallai are initially only on the bench in the Bundesliga game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Philipp Lienhart, who had to leave the field in the game with the Italian record champions because of a thigh injury, is not in the squad this Sunday (3:30 p.m. / DAZN). New in the starting XI are Manuel Gulde, Ritsu Doan and Michael Gregoritsch.
Guest coach Pellegrino Matarazzo is trying to achieve his first win as TSG coach with six changes. Christoph Baumgartner is out of last place due to a yellow card suspension and Kasper Dolberg suffered a concussion in training. Compared to the 0:1 at FSV Mainz 05, Kevin Vogt is not part of the squad either. Angeliño, Andrej Kramaric and Thomas Delaney are sitting outside. Finn Ole Becker, John Anthony Brooks, Robert Skov, Angelo Stiller, Ihlas Bebou and Munas Dabbur are trusted for this.
