According to its own information, Liefergrün offers parcel deliveries via electric vehicles in more than 40 cities in Austria and Germany. In the 23 districts of Vienna, more than every second HelloFresh cooking box is now delivered emission-free. The vehicles used for this are charged exclusively with renewable energy in the distribution centers. In the Austrian delivery green network, the emissions measured so far per package are on average only 4.6 grams of CO2, according to the provider.
“An environmentally conscious product is very important to our customers and to us as a company. With the partnership with Liefergrün, we are once again demonstrating our commitment to the environment, in direct contact with customers on the last mile,” says Robert Palmer, Senior Logistics Manager HelloFresh. “With Liefergrün we have found the perfect partner to deliver our product with even lower emissions. This means we are keeping and renewing our service and sustainability promise to our customers.”
“We deliver packages exactly as the recipients expect. The numerous positive customer feedback we receive every day proves that our sustainable concept is successful and can be transferred to other cities. We guarantee 100 percent sustainability and rely on fair working conditions for our drivers. I am proud and grateful to be able to conquer the Austrian market from Vienna with our team and in collaboration with HelloFresh.”
