Lidl recalls nut mix, product accidentally contains peanuts

Lidl Netherlands is recalling a nut mix because some packages were accidentally filled with student oats. Due to the manufacturing flaw, peanuts and cashews are in the bag, which is not stated on the label.

The warning applies to the Royal Mix nut mix of the brand Alesto with an expiry date of 14-12-2021 and barcode 20353025. The supermarket chain warns people with an allergy to peanuts and cashew nuts not to eat the nut mix. They may return the product to the store and receive a refund of the purchase amount.

The incorrectly filled packaging has now been removed from all stores.
