Lidl on alert, product recalled due to bacterial contamination. It could be the cause of potentially fatal meningitis.

What is a food recall

The products recalled by Lidl are the hot dog McEnney. The withdrawal occurred following the detection of Listeria monocytogenes contamination in the product. A bacterium that can cause contamination experience symptoms for several weeks. The symptoms are fever, vomiting and headachein some cases even convulsions.

The seriousness of the matter led to a request for withdrawal from the market. The facts just stated they occurred in Great Britainbut this being a sold product the alert is also high in Italy.
