If you ask the actress who gives her body and soul, Matilda De Angelis, what most unites her with the characterreplies that «the actor’s work is a game of empathy and imagination, so it is normal that we all draw on our personal baggage and always bring something of our intimacy and who we are to the stage. The thing that amuses me, however, is always trying to play characters that are as distant from myself as possible. Like Lydia. With her, however, I share strength, determination and also irony.”

Moving on to the topic of costumes, it is inevitable to think about what could be, for De Angelis and not for Poët, the mise favored – perhaps with a more special sentimental meaning – of the many look changes over the course of the series. He explains to us that it is «the same costume from the first season, the purple and red one, which has become iconic for me. I only put it back in the last episode, I find it to be the common thread between Lidia in the first episodes and Lidia now. I can’t explain exactly why it is my favorite but in my eyes it contains its style, its soul. In the second season there are incredible clothes, Stefano (Ciammitti) has outdone himself but for me that costume remains legendary. I find it to be a sort of uniform; when Lidia puts it on she becomes a superhero».
