MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. The task of all Dynamo Moscow players is to play short passes, play football, without looking at the result. Head coach of the blue and white Marcel Lička told reporters about this.
On Saturday, Dynamo beat Paris Nizhny Novgorod with a score of 3:1 in the home match of the 15th round of the World – Russian Premier League (RPL).
“The goal was to play a short pass, despite the result,” said Licka. “If we play football, the result will come. But if we put pressure on ourselves and play for the result, our legs will shake and mistakes will appear. We tried play football.”
“Today we tried to play with two strikers in front. There were good moments, there were moments where we were a little passive, especially at the end of the match. You don’t need to keep the ball at your goal, you need to keep it in the opponent’s half of the field. Fortunately, we won. Let’s go now relax, with a smile and a little more calm,” he added.
Lichka also assessed the performance of his players in the first half of the season. “My inner dream was to make 10 wins, which gives 30 points. I am very happy that we are scoring goals, but I would like us to concede less. It is not only a matter of defense, it is teamwork, the first defenders are the forwards. We will try, work, do exercises. If we are fourth, then there are three more teams that are better, then we need to work and catch up with them,” he noted.
After 15 rounds played, Dynamo ranks fourth in the RPL standings, gaining 30 points. The blue and white will play their next match on November 24 away against Fakel Voronezh.
