Because the road between Derna and these towns collapsed due to flooding, rescue teams were unable to enter. These towns have smaller populations but also face shortages of drinking water and food. People are still trapped inside their houses, surrounded by mud. Officials are now working to enable rescue teams to reach more affected areas.
