The “Libyan National Army” led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar said in a statement today, Wednesday, that it had detected a large mobilization of militias in western Misrata.

“The Libyan Army stressed that this is a clear violation of the principles of the ceasefire and the resulting understandings to take practical steps on the ground to reinforce a permanent ceasefire and to translate the Geneva Statement of the 5 + 5 Military Commission sponsored by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya into practical measures that contribute to Solve the Libyan crisis.
He stated that he was still monitoring and following up the moves, warning against taking any escalatory and provocative steps in the region.
Libyan forces have also released videos that they say show militias mobilizing around the ceasefire line.
