On Sunday, the Nationwide Oil Company of Libya denied holding any negotiations to provide crude oil to a refinery in Nigeria.
A senior official at Nigeria’s Dangote Refinery advised Reuters final week that the corporate is in talks with Libya to provide uncooked supplies to the refinery, which has a capability of 650,000 barrels a day.
In an announcement on the X platform, the Nationwide Oil Company denied “negotiating or partaking in any negotiations associated to the provision of crude oil to an oil refinery in Nigeria .”
She mentioned that she is “dedicated to her contracts along with her worldwide companions and is dedicated to the authorized mechanism for promoting Libyan crude oil, and that it’s going to not work with an instantaneous gross sales mechanism.” ”
She continued, “The method to find out the costs of uncooked supplies occurs by a committee of specialists, and it’s authorized by the Company and the Ministry of Oil and Fuel.”
Libya’s crude oil manufacturing quantities to 1.28 million barrels per day, in line with the Nationwide Oil Company.
