For five days (from April 9 to 13), the Libreville sports center will vibrate to the rhythm of children’s books, with book fair activities which aim to promote, among other things, learning to read at out loud, the development of book culture from childhood or even highlighting the know-how of writers, publishers and children’s book players.
For the writer Sylvie Ntsame, president of the Association for the Promotion of Books and Arts (APLA), and also president of the organizing committee of the said show, the SLJL is here an opportunity for the different actors, but also visitors, passionate about reading, to come and discover the world of books, more precisely children’s books.
