Libreville Golf-Open: Léa Ndjobouela in the top 3 – AGP

Libreville May 27, 2023 (AGP) – Gabonese golfer Léa Ndjobouela currently occupies 3rd place on the podium among professionals, after the second day of this 38th Open.

The table noted in the women’s circuit has in no way taken Léa Ndjobouela away from her goal. That of passing a milestone in her golf career.

« I am serene. Currently I have a better level than a few years ago and I need this challenge to go from amateur to professional. In Gabon I am the only one at my level, so I need this continental competition to move to the next level. My desire is therefore to turn professional, in order to carry the colors of the national flag internationally“had declared the Gabonese golfer, before the start of the competition.

The latter therefore seems well on its way to achieving this objective. Because after two days of competition, Léa Ndjobouela is hot on the heels of the competition. She is third in the professional standings.

Throne in first place, the Nigerian favorite, Georgia Iziemgbe Oboh (21 years old).

In the men’s draw, 39 golfers are competing at the professional level, including 10 Gabonese.
