The collection, which is currently in formation, includes catalogs of national and international exhibitions, both collective and individual, of artists of relevance for the study of art history.
This library makes available to the public a specialized documentary collection, with catalogs of fairs, biennials, competitions and awards at national and international level.
Its existing volumes and those that continue to be incorporated are dedicated to contemporary artistic movements, photography, architecture, design and the arts in general: painting, sculpture, drawing, engraving, music, theater, cinema, etc.
The main mission of the Library is to build, organize, develop and preserve collections, disseminate activities and promote access to its services, so that it can serve as a means of information and research for present and future generations.
At the same time, according to the authorities, it accompanies the mission of the institution, whose historical objective is to contribute to human elevation, stimulating scientific research, ethical and cultural thinking with a social purpose.
