Liberty Latin America and América Móvil announced the combination of their subsidiaries VTR and Claro in Chile to form a new “joint venture” in the Andean country, as reported in a statement Thursday.
In particular, the Chilean National Economic Prosecutor approved the announced agreement to combine the respective activities of the two companies in the country. The objective of the operation is to set up a joint venture with a 50% stake each.
