Liberalism disappeared in the PNL. We will compose it at USR and with what is left of PNL / We have nothing to share with AUR, they died on conscience due to false news

The USR leader, Dacian Cioloș, declared, on Monday evening, on B1 TV, that “liberalism has disappeared at PNL” and that he will be found in the party he leads, together with what is left of PNL.

Main statements:

• The coalition could be rebuilt with another prime minister besides Cîțu, as PNL has now done with PSD.
• The least evil is to have a partner who does what he says (asked if the least evil was a government with Cîțu or a PNL-PSD government);
• You don’t need a gamer playing poker to stay in office.
• There are some limits to compromise.
• When this prime minister did not want to build anything, but just to set fire to keep the fire going…
• The PNL ended up in exactly the same situation, in bed with those they said were their mortal enemies.
• The conclusion is that in fact Florin Cîțu did not want to rebuild the coalition. But they knew that if they made the agreement with PSD from the beginning, it would cost them a lot.
• Nicolae Ciuca came to tell me that he has a mandate only to ask for support from USR, not to form a government. Florin Cîțu came and told us that we were rebuilding the coalition with him as prime minister.

• Take a look at how much support Florin Cîțu still has. We wanted to rebuild the coalition with a prime minister with whom we could work, but there was no availability.
• We will prepare for 2024 a truly liberal, reforming alternative, which will win the trust of Romanians, all is not lost. There are a lot of people who are disappointed with what happened, I realize this.
• We have nothing to do with GOLD, you have to explain why he spread false news that led to the death of man. We have nothing to share with GOLD. GOLD has deaths on its conscience.
