KOMPAS.com – RANS Nusantara FC immediately shot to the top of Group B klasemen 2022 President’s Cup after silence Persija JakartaWednesday (22/6/2022) evening WIB.
Competing at Segiri Stadium, Samarinda, RANS Nusantara FC successfully bulldozed Persija Jakarta with a landslide score of 5-1 in the 2022 Presidential Cup.
The five goals that decided RANS Nusantar FC’s victory were scored by Septian Bagaskara (16′), Edo Febriansyah (45′), Kodai Lida (58′), David Laly (71′), Christian Gonzales (85′-penalty).
The last three goals of RANS Nusantara FC were born from mistakes or fatal blunders from Persija Jakarta’s back line.

The only goal in reply to Persija Jakarta was scored by midfielder from Japan, Ryohei Miyazaki, in the 89th minute.
This is Rahmad Darmawan’s first victory for RANS Nusantara FC in the 2022 Presidential Cup.
In the previous two Group B matches, RANS Nusantara FC were held to a draw by Barito Putera (1-1) and Madura United (0-0).
With five points from three matches, RANS Nusantara FC is now at the top of the 2022 President’s Cup Group B standings.
The number of matches and the collection of points for RANS Nusantara FC is actually identical to Barito Putera who sits in second place.

However, Christian Gonzales et al are more entitled to occupy the top of Group B of the 2022 Presidential Cup because they are superior on goal difference over Barito Putera.
On the other hand, the crushing defeat of RANS Nusantara FC made Persija Jakarta sink further into the bottom of Group B standings.
Persija Jakarta must be in fifth place in the 2022 President’s Cup Group B standings after swallowing two consecutive defeats.
However, Persija’s chance to qualify for the 2022 Presidential Cup quarter-finals is still open even though they cannot determine their own destiny.
The main requirement that Persija must meet in order to qualify for the quarter-finals is to wipe out the last two Group B matches with a win.
Persija Jakarta’s last two opponents in Group B are Borneo FC (25 June 2022) and Madura United (28 June 2022).

In addition to defeating Borneo FC and Madura United, Persija must also hope that Barito Putera and RANS Nusantara FC will slip in the last match of Group B.
If later RANS Nusantara FC and Barito Putera win in the last match of Group B, Persija Jakarta will certainly be eliminated immediately.
Persija’s chances of overthrowing Borneo FC and Madura United are quite large.
Because, Persija will no longer field a young team like when they faced Barito Putera and RANS Nusantara FC.
Persija in the last two Group B matches will be strengthened by a row of their senior stars starting from Andritany Ardhiyasa, Riko Simanjuntak, Osvaldo Haay, to the national team defender Rep. Czech, Ondrej Kudela.
The head coach of Persija, Thomas Doll, will also accompany the team directly in the match against Borneo FC and Madura United.
Until now, there have been four teams that have won the 2022 Presidential Cup quarter-final tickets.
They are Persib Bandung, Bhayangkara FC, Arema FC, and PSM Makassar.
The four teams that have been eliminated are Bali United, Persebaya Surabaya, Persik Kediri, and Persikabo 1973.
The eight teams above are from Group C and Group D, which have already ended.
