THE SUN. In the middle of the genre, Liamoo dropped the box of fire he’s holding in his hand during his number.
A technician threw himself on the floor to look for it in the dark.
– I just thought “hope it doesn’t break”, says the artist.
Liam “Liamoo” Cacatian Thomassen26, is still struggling to pull off the fire trick on stage in Melodifestivalen.
This time he managed to catch fire in his hand, but then things went wrong.
– A technician will come and take the fire out of my hand and I think that either I threw it away or he dropped it. Something happened, says Liamoo.

The small box with fire in it ended up on the floor and the technician fumbled around in the dark to find it.
– I just thought “hope it doesn’t break”. It’s not very strong, so I hope it held up well, says Liamoo.
The rep audience saw it all happen live. There was a whoosh in the audience before the technician found the box and everyone could exhale.
Liamoo: “Bad gut feeling”
Liamoo says that he has been nervous about the genre rope.
– I’ve had a really bad feeling in my stomach.
– I’m afraid of what people will think and afraid that they will dislike it.
At the same time, he’s hooked and even though the fire has done it for him before, he just wants more.
– I want us to pour on, I want as much fire as possible.
