Police and paramedics rushed to the hotel in the affluent Palermo district after an emergency call about a man who was said to be “aggressive and possibly under the influence of drugs and alcohol”.
When they arrived, paramedics confirmed that the singer was already dead. They found him in the courtyard of the Casa Sur Hotel. Health chief Alberto Crescenti declined to provide details. “His injuries were not compatible with life,” he said only.
