On the 29th the three days of competition and exchange of coaches of the national table tennis team ended. After two rounds of voting and selection, the competition committee selected the head of the new coaching staff of the national table tennis team: Li Sun as head coach, Wang Hao as head coach of the men’s team, Ma Lin as head coach of the team women’s, and Xiao Xiao as the head coach of the mixed doubles team. Liu Heng and 24 other coaches have entered the national table tennis coaching list.
This time a total of 31 qualified coaches took part in the competition. According to the rules, after all the contestants have made their statements, the 15 judges of the selection board will vote by secret ballot to produce a list of the heads of the coaching staff of the new national table tennis team. Subsequently, the competition review committee will vote together with the new national team coach, men’s team coach, women’s team coach, national team mixed doubles team head, and representatives of national team athletes, and select candidates from the list including men’s national team, women’s youth team head coach, national team coach, national youth coach, etc., and other post coaches.
